About the Book

Jonathan Wade was born into a drab existence. From his first realization of his cheerless environment he longs for escape. His chance finally comes in the form of an unexpected tragedy, and he grasps for the opportunity of his freedom. His “climb up the high mountain” is arduous as he encounters all the events that shape his life.

This is the chronicle of his a life, with all its happenings: the trudging through the beginnings; the wonderment at the awakenings; the trepidations facing the adventures; the anxieties of the searches; until finally, the homecoming.

All of the wonders, uncertainties, hopes, loves, disappointments, and the tragedies of life are, one way or another, encountered by us all as we venture on our own Climb.

This is the story of a life – lived well or not – for you the Reader, to be the judge.

About the Author L.S. Bán lives on an island with his wife. Climb the High Mountainis his first attempt at publication, and although written several years ago, the trepidation of the adventure resulted in the delay of the publication. He continues to write, if only for his own enjoyment.
