About the Author

My name is Harriett Jean McGuire Pondexter. I’m thirty-eight years old. I am the daughter of Harold Gene McGuire Sr. and Sarah Frances Fletcher. I was born and raise in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I’m married to Clarvell Pondexter, who’s from Tollette Arkansas. Which he makes my second husband. We now reside in Houston Texas. I have two daughters, one stepson and three grandchildren. Our home church is the Church of Christ where my husband and I became born again in Christ on April 16th of 2006. I am sick with a chronic disease called Sarcoidosis. It is an unknown disease that can attack living organs, which I have it in my lungs and there’s no cure. There’s four stages and I’m in my second. It can go to sleep and that’s what we’re hoping for. I am an inventor, I’m hoping to get my product to market. The book I have written is called Poetry and Poems of Life. It is based on the reality of life which hits home on a lot of bases that happens in our life. so if you believe in the Lord Jesus and what he has done for us , well, this is the book for you to read. We all need to give him thanks and praises each and everyday for he is the and only living God. Our Lord Jesus and Savior.
