About the Author
Denise Hammerberg began her writing endeavors after receiving a stage IV cancer diagnosis. Writing provided distraction from intensive medical treatments, a therapeutic and creative outlet for her emotions, and helped her to focus on the art of living. She co-authored two books during her illness, The Garden of Being, and What Color Is A Bean? Her third book about her beloved cat, B.C., was finished shortly before her death, but prior to being published. She was a resident of Lapeer, Michigan.
