Remember...When you had a Real Pal? is for the young and old. The book concentrates on the message of how precious and fleeting it is to have a Real Pal and the lessons we learn from the influence of their examples of kindness and encouragement. This is a labor of love that is dedicated to those who are fortunate enough to recognize and Remember the Real Pals in their journey through life and to help teach our youth and adults how to be A Real Pal. We often forget the importance these people have had in our growing up. This books has been written and illustrated to help us remember who helped shape our lives. It will warm our hearts and bring back precious memories of those who take time to read it.

About the Author

About the Author Jim Lake is an experienced educator, school administrator, and university instructor. He is also a successful artist who has created and shown his works of pottery, watercolor paintings, and pen and ink drawings for the past thirty years. He is expanding his many talents to include writing. He hopes that youth and adults alike will enjoy his book of illustrations and be inspired by our memories of having a Real Pal. Jim and his wife are the proud parents of six children and have nineteen grandchildren. They reside in Central California.
