About the Book

Jason McCoy is the Bay Area’s most frustrated cab driver. In one day he is evicted from his whole-in-the-wall apartment, kicked out of the band that he co-founded, and stood up by his would-be girlfriend, Susan. Broke, lonely and bored, he decides to pick up an Open Shift at the cab company where he works.

Meanwhile, Michael Taylor, a ruthless sociopath on a murderous cross country rampage makes his way to Marin County, in the Bay Area. There, he charms Susan’s shallow friend Nikki and Susan into a night on the town in San Francisco, full of partying and clubbing.

As Jason goes through a hellish night behind the wheel of the cab, he is unknowingly on a collision coarse with the sociopath from hell.
