About the Author

Tara Favalaro-Foye was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario, always knowing from the age of fifteen that she wanted to work with children. Tara graduated from Mohawk College with honors in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in the ECE field for over 22 years, presently overseeing programs and working with new families as they make the transition into daycare. She continues to live in Burlington, enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, Tucker and Piper as well as the rest of their family. ============ Shannon Holmes Shedden has had a love for children from an early age. She grew up in the Burlington area and now resides in Ancaster, Ontario. She obtained her Early Childhood Education when she graduated from Mohawk College. She has been in the field for twelve years, and is currently the program coordinator for a preschool program. Her home life keeps her busy with her husband, step daughter and her puppy Bailey as well as her loving family.
