About the Book

Bunny Flu Flu is a precocious little rabbit who loves life and often learns life’s lessons the hard way. I started writing her stories over seven years ago when I would be inspired by one of my grandchildren. There is a little of each of them in many of Bunny Flu Flu’s adventures. What started out as a series of poems slowly birthed itself into the idea of a book with illustrations to capture the hearts of parents and their children.

A wonderful young man named Edwin Faulkner assisted with bringing Bunny Flu Flu to life when he sat down with colored pencils and sketched the first illustrations. She’s as adorable as I imagined her to be and each of her critter friends come alive as they journey through the pages of the book with Flu Flu.

I hope you enjoy each of her escapades with me and who knows …. She might just teach us a thing or two along the way.

Enjoy with my sincere pleasure,
Cheryl McClellan

About the Author

Cheryl McClellan inherited the love of poetry and the ability to write from her grandmother, Grace King Walker. Cheryl’s first poetry prize came in the sixth grade and she has been writing poetry from that day. She resides in Concord, North Carolina with her husband, Gary and is the mother of three adult children and six grandchildren. The Bunny Flu Flu book was inspired, in part, by observing her six grandchildren: Tommy, Brandon, Laurin, Zachary, Jaden and Jenay. When she’s not writing, Cheryl works with Redeemer’s Recovery Ranch, a non-profit ministry that offers hope and rehabilitation for women dealing with abuse issues. She enjoys spending time with family and is very involved with church activities. Cheryl is also the author of a volume of poetry entitled For His Glory, Christ-centered poems offering hope and inspiration.
