About the Author
After leaving the Army in 1967 I married my child hood sweetheart and she blessed me with 3 Children. They in turn blessed me with wonderful Grandchildren, seven now and hopefully many more. I have always enjoyed telling my Grandchildren this story, and others, that I have created just for them. Now that they are getting older, I realized that other Children would also enjoy my version of Why Do We Say Trick or Treat, Why Do We Call Turkey Tom, Dancing Carrots, and others. It is my hope that everyone enjoys the stories as much as I enjoyed telling them.
