About the Author

I am a young African-American woman from “Motown” Detroit, Michigan. Some of my influences remain the same like my favorite Aunt Debra, a writer as well, who taught me to write from experiences. My mom, Sandra Joyce Walker-Hance, though she is not here physically, she is a big part of my heart, and is part of everything that I write.
