About the Author

Barrington Junior Black is the author of "The Journey Through Love and Pain." Barrington is the fourth child of Jean and Barrington Black. Born and raised in Jamaica West Indies, at the age of 10 years old he knew he was destined to become a writer. Barrington entered a writer's competition and even though he came short of winning or placing in the top three rankings, he never gave up his dream of becoming a writer. After moving to the United States at the age of 15, Barrington developed a love for poetry. He writes from his own experience-- having been in a relationship with love and pain. He wanted to share his thoughts through poetry with the rest of the world. Barrington says "I wrote about love and pain because that's the way how I see life: you can't have love, without a little pain."
