About the Book

C’est avec un immense plaisir que je vous présente mon premier recueil en français. Dans ce panier de poèmes, j’ai un fruit pour vous tous : enfants, adultes, vieillards, amoureux, politiciens, etcetera. Vous y trouverez aussi une fl eur, un grain de baisers et une poignée de mains pour l’humanité toute entière. Je nourrissais ce rêve, ce désir d’écrire, d’aider, de m’exprimer et d’ouvrir mon coeur grandement pour charmer la nature et ses acolytes depuis que je fus bambin. Ce rêve, enfi n réalisé, je ne peux que remercier le Très-Haut, parce que j’écris réellement pour vous tous, pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas s’exprimer, pour ceux qui veulent se respecter mais qui ne savent pas comment le faire et pour ceux qui sont mentalement, psychologiquement et physiquement muets. Chers lecteurs, j’espère que vous lirez ce recueil de poèmes avec beaucoup d’intérêt et de compréhension. Ce recueil est un roman, un récit, une détente, un long poème, une longue lettre amoureuse voire un rêve qui commence, qui fi nit et qui recommence.

About the Author

Hébert Logerie is originally from Anse d’Hainault, Haiti (W.I.).He grew up and has been living happily in the United States of America for the past thirty years. He is an alumnus of the following institutions: the Brothers of Saint Joseph; Roger Anglade at Port-au-Prince; Montclair High School, New Jersey; and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

Mr. Logerie, a School Business Administrator, loves: life, literature, numbers and his fellow Human Beings. Peace and Love are the central themes of his eclectic, provocative and progressive writings.

A great visionary who encourages all Homo Sapiens to remove the insidious barbed wires from their brains; the human family deserves better than the status quo.

He speaks and writes in French, English and Creole and has published the following books of poetry: ‘Sparkles of Love’, ‘Etincelles de l’Amour’, ‘Mounts and Valleys of Love’, and ‘Monts et Vallées de l’Amour’.

He is the proud father of Betsy and Hébert Jr.
