Ashlee opened her eyes choking with a cough she was hurt and it hurt to breathe. She could feel something wet around her and remembered the snow but this didn’t feel like snow it was water very cold freezing water. She could move her legs but it felt like they were in mid air trying to find solid ground but there was none. Trying to remember what happened, she was talking to Kate when something hit her or she hit it and knocked her out. But where was she there were no sounds of traffic and what was that rushing sound. Then she realized with panic her car must have slid into the river she must have gone over the railing. Panicking she tried to find her cell but had no luck. Her head hurt and her side felt like something was pushing her against the seat . She yelled for help and tried to move but when she did it sounded like the car was going to explode

About the Author

I was born in Burlingame California to Elbert and Marjorie Bartlett on February 1, 1958 I grew up in the bay area and graduated from Irvington high school in Fremont California 1976. I have three children Sarah, Camille and my son Billy. I am a grandmother of two, Khylee and Christian in which I am so proud of them all.
