About the Author

Patrice Austin was born on the 2nd of October, 1985, in Kingston, Jamaica to Albert and Aldith Austin. She is the youngest of four children, two sisters Charmaine the eldest and Kamille, and her brother Dwayne. She started school at the age of 2 when she attended the One Way Basic school then move to St Ann for two year where she attended the Muirhouse Basic School and then Muirhouse All Age School at the age of 5. Patrice then returned to Kingston and was enrolled in the St Patrick’s Primary School for the next five years. At the age of 10 she passed the Common Entrance Exam for the Norman Manley High School. While there she has accomplished 4 Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) and 3 Secondary School Certificates (SSC) subjects and then later attended Kingston Technical High School where she acquired an additional 2 CXC subjects including Mathematics and English Language. Patrice was an active member of the Kingston Technical High School’s Drama Club and Poetry Society. Presently she is living in Coral Springs, Florida with her mother and working in the Retail Industry.
