About the Author

Alexander Maximilian was born and raised in the American South. He has been an avid fantasy reader since his earliest years. Thanks to his mother, he read J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit as a five year old and had finished The Lord of the Rings by age seven. Alexander takes pride in his love of fantasy and enjoys trying to convince skeptics that it is a valid genre of literature and not mere escapism.
