The book was fi rst storyboarded out by a child with Autism, 11 year old Christopher Ankney. He captured the essence and spirit of the characters in the story perfectly. His pictures are featured on the pages, inset, to show the contrasts and similarities. The illustrations showcase the imagination and interpretation of the book, through the eyes of a child. Some of the proceeds from this book will go to the Autism Society of America Foundation, to bring awareness to the prevalence of Autism and to help support their cause. Every book in the Mousey Books series will be devoted to a worthy cause, with some of the proceeds going to its foundation.
