About the Author

I have been writing for several years, but mainly for personal satisfaction, and allowing friends and family to bask in what I take pride in. I recently decided that I would allow others into my life and thoughts that I have kept personal for many years. I feel that a lot of my poems are universal and can affect many in an array of ways. Many of these poems provided an outlet to me, but as I have conversed with friends I have noticed that some of the poems I have written fit what they are going through at that current time. So I have used my poems in aid to those close to me who need support. I would like to thank all of those who have come into my life, shared experiences with me, shape me into who I am, and provided me with the strength to be who I am going to be in the future. To my daughter who passed away, February 17, 2007 before having the possibility to become someone special and change the world; Kaylyn motivates me every day to better lives for others; especially children. This is the beginning of my adventure as an artist but also as an individual with enormous amounts of potential. I plan to release a series of children books, so look out for those in the future.
