Words and senses take over the moment and my soul is lifted to soar like an eagle's majestic flight in search of high ground. The echo of my heart repeating my deepest desires, pictures of past emotions render my mind, only to discover new and endless obsessions that create a balance between madness and sanity.

About the Author

Biography Pedro Solís Jr. Pedro was born in Passaic, New Jersey in 1965. His parents are Pedro Solís Lebron and Carmen Socorro Gonzalez. Both parents were born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Pedro’s family moved to Puerto Rico a few years after he was born. There Pedro’s father became a minister and was a Pastor of a small church. In 1979 Pedro’s family moved back to New Jersey as Pedro’s father was to become the new Pastor of the Brothers United in Christ Church in Carteret, New Jersey. Pedro was raised in the church and loves the Lord. He started writing Christian songs and poems at a young age. In 1986 Pedro married his wife, Carmen and moved from Carteret to Elizabeth, New Jersey were they lived for 18 years. For many years Pedro wanted to be a father, but was unable to as his wife, Carmen, was unable to bare children. After sixteen years, the Lord, God, blessed Carmen with her first child, Juanpablo. Three years after giving birth to Juanpablo the Lord blessed Carmen again with Pedroshaliel. Both wife and children have become Pedro’s inspiration and will to continue to write.
