About the Author

Ralph C. Higgins is a native of Maine where he lives today with his wife in the Town of Newfield where they conduct a homey restaurant serving home cooked meals prepares by themselves. He has three children and is a grandfather. His variegated career includes work as a woodsman, a carpenter, a house painter, a farmer, former chief of police, Navy Veteran and for two years a selectman for his town, which he states is: “an education in itself,” Mr. Higgins, a lover of wildlife, describes himself as “just an ordinary guy.”
