About the Author

Jack has lived what could be termed a "full life". After graduation he went into show business appearing in vaudeville theatres for 7 years as a stand-up comedian. At the same time, doing 4 shows a day, were Bob Hope, Red Skelton, and Milton Berle, and in later life Jack drew them in person for the Wall Of Fame at the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. After his service in World War 11 he turned to his artistic talent and drew people's caricatures. This is Lane's 2nd book his first one including his celebrities sketches and humorous anecdotes about some of them.
