About the Author

I was born on November 5, 1945, the daughter of George and Wavaglee Miller. Growing up on a farm in Unity, Wisconsin, I developed a deep love for my pets at an early age. After a 37 year career in Mortgage Banking in Minneapolis and Fort Lauderdale, my husband I built our home next to Dad’s’ big red shed, on the same 40 acres I picked rocks at the age of 8. I traded in my high heels for a pair of red boots. We enjoy family, friends, and our many cats and dogs. Our land is a sanctuary for deer, turkeys, birds, ducks and rabbits.
