About the Book

The Closet Depressionist is a book of poetry, which explores the deepest parts of a man´s life and his battle in fighting depression. The poetry talks to how someone has dealt with depression, heartache, grief, anger, but also being reborn, the hope of finding someone, the beauty of life, along with the will and strength to live it. Within my poetry I show you real feelings of a real person, one that has endured much throughout his life. A man who closed off his depression to the world around him, while the man outside smiled, but held no joy within; the true Closet Depressionist. Now please go on this journey into the deeper realms of real poetry and emotional word play. Read with an open mind and feel the power of the words used from within this book. Always know that your battles are never fought alone in life and that there are people out there, like me, who go through the same ordeals of life we endure.
