About the Book

My Poems, Myself, and I is the thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences written from the mind and seen through the eyes of Shawn Powell. He experience the hurt from his "No Ordinary New Years" poem to the ode to the female species in the poem entitled, "The Featured Creature." Though these pieces of work can be very personal to him, they can also be shared in life experiences with people everyday. Twelve years of everyday writing narrowed into a sixty-poem book.
