About the Book

Born the son of a share croppers daughter, Larry was surrounded by poverty left by the second world war. His dad, still restless from his tour of duty in Italy and struggling to find a respectable job,was under a lot of pressure to provide for his deprived family. Because of his abnormal enviorment and bizarre relatives, young Larry´s life was filled with contenious humor and drama. Growing old in years and not wanting his stories to be forgotten, he wrote about the little boy growing up in the foot hills of the Appalachia Mountains. The short stories were later presented to his only daughter as a Christmas gift.
