About the Author

Mary Holt Ashley PhD. RN a former chief nurse executive of a Multihosptial system enjoyed a successful career in Nursing now lectures on leadership and serves on boards in her community,. She earned a PhD in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and has tranversed many nursing leadership roles. Her passion for leadership prompted her to share her career with aspiring and seasoned leaders using the boxing phenomenon as her template. She resides in Houston, Texas with her husband Ellis and shares her time with son Chuck and his wife Tekesha. Daily, she finds time to play Scrabble. On the back cover the inside flap place the 12 leadership points and end it “Get up Champoin”
