About the Book
“The Secret of My Father’s Love” was birthed on November of 2008 as a result of the author’s personal revelation. It is a story of Lydia; she is a Christian, a social worker, a daughter. She becomes the other woman when she falls in love with Adam, her former client who is married. He also suffers from a terminal illness. It is the story of her struggle to rise above this deception. Interwoven with Lydia’s personal struggle with deception is deception experienced by members of the Catholic Church and the process of healing that occurs upon leaving the Church.
About the Author
Susan Ginty is a native of Connecticut. She recently retired from a twenty year career as a clinical social worker associate in the Connecticut correctional system. She lives in Madison, Connecticut with her husband, Ray and two dogs, Sunny and Keegan. When she is not writing books, Susan enjoys watching old movies and going camping. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her grandson, Brett Raymond Warner, while his parents are at work. This is her first novel. She has also written a children’s story.
