About the Book

During our lives, it is inevitable that we will face adversity, disappointment, brokenness, loss, pain and suffering. The question is how we respond. You can either run to God or turn away from God. The choice should be obvious. When adversity strikes, we must look to God and His word to be our source of strength and peace. During my life, I have experienced many peaks, but it has been the deepest and darkest valleys that brought me into an awareness that I need God in my life. With this book, I want to share what gave me the strength to face the adversity, brokenness and disappointment in my life and to remind the reader that we are not alone during the storms, trials and nightmares we encounter during the course of our lives. God, our Father, is always there to lean on and to give us strength to endure the harshness of life and to carry us when the load becomes too heavy bear.

About the Author

CONRAD A. SALUMBIDES, JR. is a fi rst time author. In this book, he shares with the reader, how he has been able to conquer the deepest, darkest and most diffi cult valleys of his life through his faith and trust in God. He is married to Nancy Corona-Salumbides and has four children. He and his wife live in South Pasadena, California.
