About the Book

First of all, I must say that I did not write this book because of some great insight, or wisdom on my behalf. Nor because I had some great burning desire within myself. I wrote it because of a commandment from God. To be truthful, I thought within myself, “why me”? I thought that since my Bishop/Pastor had taught on the subject in the Sonship School of the Firstborn, he would be the appropriate one to write this. Though I don’t understand everything God does, I never question His authority and His right as God. I realize that He has a purpose. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Through my warped thought processes, God also had me to understand that Bishop Holcomb could not do all the teaching and writing of the book and that he had others qualified to do the same when they girded their minds and got busy. My biggest concern now is writing a book that, hopefully, will be a blessing to those who read it, and the Scriptures provided would support what is stated. If the writing is scripturally sound, that should eliminate most scrutiny.

About the Author

Dr Sylvester Copeland Jr. is an Elder of the Christian house of Prayer in Killeen and Copperas Cove, TX. One church in two locations. He is a servant-minister who labors in whatever capacity needed at the time. His dedication, devotion and obedience to the Commandments of God have enabled him to acquire wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the will of God for his life. He preaches the word and serves in numerous auxiliaries within the church endeavoring to please the Father. His passion is to encourage and inspire the people of God to examine them and determine if they are serving in the vocation God has called them to. Full assurance of understanding his word, will eliminate indecisiveness and assist in them in choosing God's will for their lives.
