Home’s the Only Place for Me” Summary Meet a little boy who gets himself up a creek and must learn to tell his dad the truth. Through rhyme, rhythm, and a little exaggeration, the story mimics the lives of many adults who were once young, too. Wisdom, grace and forgiveness are modeled to children that they may become Godly parents when they have children of their own. Home is the place to learn how to love-home is the only place for me!

About the Author

Born in rural North Dakota, Tanya writes for both young and old readers alike. Through her experiences as a farm girl, active duty Air Force member, teacher, pastor’s wife and mother, she weaves lessons lived into fun and entertaining stories for all audiences. She believes quality children’s books include rhythm, rich language, and a Christian worldview. Residing in North Dakota, she currently teaches and designs online early childhood education courses. Being married to a Baptist preacher and raising three teenage children is the joy of her life.
