About the Book
Everyone knows someone, or is someone with cancer. This book is dedicated to the lives and memories of all those who have been touched by cancer, and share the hope of finding a cure. Special thanks go to my family, friends, doctors, nurses, health care professionals, coworkers, and spiritual supporters who were all part of my army. The fight goes on until we win the war!
About the Author
Tammy Michelle is a special education teacher , with over twenty-five years of experience teaching adolescents. Her educational opportunities helped her earn a BA in psychology and social work, an M.Ed. in special education, plus thirty hours toward a future doctoral degree. She cherishes every moment spent with her husband, Frank, and the five wonderful children they share. Two months before her forty-sixth birthday, Tammy was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her experiences became the catalyst that prompted her to keep a daily journal, from which Life Without Nipples was written. By sharing her story, she hopes to communicate to all those who have been touched by cancer, that this disease is about living, loving, and learning.
