Like all younger sisters, four-year-old Kristin is tired of being left out when her sister Lynne has a friend over to play. Just this once, she is included in one of the older girls’ games. However, she ends up being tricked by them, leaving her in tears. Can Kristin find a way to play with the big kids without getting her feelings hurt? Brother and sisters of all ages can relate to the dynamics of this story while learning that altering one’s perspective can turn a negative situation into a positive one.

About the Author

Kristin Iorillo is an educator and a writer of children’s books. She teaches reading and writing to seventh grade students with special needs. The Wacko Baby, her first children’s book, holds a special place in her heart, as it is based on experiences from her own childhood.
