About the Book

Brendon (a wizard judge) searches for a murderer and tries to keep the balance between the Dark clans and the Fairy folk. At over four hundred years old, he is tired of being alone and thinks about searching for love, but when his cook’s grandniece stumbles into his world, he is taken aback by her charm and offers to help her with her problems. The monarch of the Dark clans gives him a gift, and he is questioned about his favoritism. When an assassination attempt blows his courtroom apart, his friends band together for his happiness.

About the Author

Danni was born on July 8, 1967, and spent most of her youth riding a horse across the countryside. She was lucky to have a family that spent time telling stories and laughing. Her mother would lay on the grass with her, and they would talk about what they saw in the cloud formations, and this is what helped her become the imaginative person that she is today. Danni was privileged to have a creative family that encouraged her to be the best she could be.
