About the Book

Poetry is the heart of a man’s soul, his entire inner being, the creativity being poured out through the power of word for the purpose of inspiration for the soul. This poetry allows one to see into the life of one that has been brought from the lowest points of hell to a place of safety and refuge in the arms of the almighty Savior. Without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit I would not be able to write with such expressions from the heart. Nothing has been imaged but a real life experience.

About the Author

I John Lee Johnson McKinney was born in Alcoa, Tennessee but later migrated to East Orange New Jersey and then to Los Angeles California. There I met fate through street life only later to find my soul poured out to our Lord and Savior through weeping, prayer and petition. God then began a healing process of restoration in my life by allowing the creative energy to flow from within me in the form of poetry.
