Pam Warmerdam, MS, RD, CDE Born and raised in a small town in central Ohio, Pam watched her family struggle intensively with weight, diabetes, heart disease, and strokes. The first in her immediate family to attend college, it was with her first class in nutrition that she decided this was to be her career. Throughout her college and career, she has specialized in weight control and diabetes education. She has a bachelors and a master of science (MS) degree in nutrition and has been a registered dietician (RD) since 1987. She has worked in managerial positions in different hospitals, but has always managed to find time to work in the field of weight loss counseling that she loved so well. She has been a certified diabetes educator (CDE) since 1999. In 2002, she opened her own business, the Nutrition Studio & Diabetes Care Center, and has helped thousands of people to learn to eat a healthier, more natural diet.
