About the Book

As Andy’s life comes to a close, he is forced to live his life in a different way. His wife (Helen) of fifty is on her deathbed. All Andy wants is for her to be at peace. He holds her hand and tells her he’ll see her real soon. The last words that Helen says affects Andy in a way he thought was impossible.

After Andy’s daughter (Kiona) comes to visit him for her mom’s funeral, Andy’s life becomes more of a journey than a rest. His journey will take him around the United States to face the demons that have plagued his wife’s life. He spends his final days showing the love of his life what she truly meant to him.

About the Author

Charles Lincoln, the only boy in a house with four sisters and his mother, was born in Northern Delaware. He grew up in a low-income area where he developed his skills for storytelling. He currently lives in Central Delaware with his wife and three children.
