About the Author

Cherry Shellabarger loves mountains, music and the way words bump up together and make sense, rhythm and rhyme. In addition to writing, Ms Shellabarger teaches Classical Core Knowledge, via music and performance, to 400 children each school week; and writes and produces curriculum relevant musicals. Cherry Shellabarger met Gracie, The Pancake Cat in Garland, TX and has known cats and observed cat habits in Guam, Germany, Texas, Seattle, Denver, and Western Colorado. She is privileged to live and write in the mountains of Colorado and to visit her three grown children and four grandchildren as often as possible.
