About the Book
Ben’s poems are written about the pain and confusion life threw at him in his late twenties. Both he and Victoria Phillips wrote of the confusion, unfairness, and hardships of life. They each found comfort in a mom or dad, in laughter, or in a curling, sleeping cat. They both accepted that they had to live their life their way and not to relinquish their power to anyone; it was their life to live! Frank’s poems are of understanding life and the final goals of his own life. He too found strength and support from his mom during his difficult journeys. The main theme of these poems is that there will be difficulties in our own lives; it is up to us to find strength, support, and comfort from friends and families to help us defeat those hard times.
