About the Book

We are surrounded by elements that have some underlying importance that are waiting for their revelation. A belief, that we simply need to uncover their concealed essence, therefore discovering their significance, which is specifically intended for us. In doing so, these elements are held up to animpressive level of existence that can support us during theprocess of grieving. Meaningfully, these elements assist us in conserving those memories once they are revealed. A personal thought, these elements now become a perceived reality enhanced by the release of these very diverseand powerful emotions.

About the Author

Sean Tennant was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Wayne State University, Michigan and aBachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University of Windsor, Ontario. Sean is a Designated Pharmacy Manager and a practising pharmacist at an Opioid Dependency Treatment Clinic Pharmacy in Windsor. Sean and his wife, Elena suffered the loss of their first child, Selena Angelica on February 23rd, 2009. She was stillborn. There was a strong sense, a deep inclination to immortalize his thoughts and emotions regarding their loss. Compelled by a paternal instinct to prove to others of her existence, a silent promise was made to her. This book of poems and short storiessurrounds the loss of Selena as experienced by a grieving father. This book is a testament of her existence as experienced by him.
