About the Book

Inspiration can happen at any time and in any place. For me, inspiration came during a visit to a cemetery. More than inspiration, that visit and other visits since, have given me a sense of re-assurance and peace. I thought that since my faith was strengthened, could I somehow share the experience? Stone carvers have given significant examples of their talents that sit in silence until we go to remember our friends and family who have already passed from this human life.

About the Author

Chris is an information technology professional who has had a broad and varied career. The fast paced field of I.T., and the ensuing stress of completing projects “on-time and within budget”, required some balancing activities. Painting and photography have been therapeutic, as have get-togethers with family, friends and neighbors, along with travel. Chris lives in the Chicago area of Illinois with his wife, Karen, and thankfully near family and friends.
