About the Author
Karen Mooney McComis earned both a Bachelors’ degree in English and German and a Master’s in English from Marshall University. McComis’s first publications included literary criticism, poetry, and short stories, while serving as a university English instructor. Two-by-Two is her first children’s book. Ongoing writing projects comprise other genres, including Adult Inspirational Literature, Biography, and more Children’s books. In addition to writing, McComis’ interests include music and animals. She serves as a pianist and vocalist for her church, is involved in animal causes, and lives on her farm in Greenup County, Kentucky with her husband and dogs. (98)
