BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH of Chaplain Dennis C. Stiles Chaplain Stiles is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina born in 1950. He graduated from J. W. Ligon High School in 1968 and attended one year at A&T State University before joining the United States Air Force. He received an honorable discharge in 1973 and returned to North Carolina. After accepting Jesus Christ as his savior in 1980, he received and accepted the call and ordination by God into the ministry in 1983. God anointed him as a teacher of the word. He was licensed into the ministry by the National Baptist Association in 1989. He was ordained into the ministry by the Southern Baptist Association in 1997. He studied Biblical Hebrew at North Carolina State University and Southeastern Seminary. He is an associate minister at Christian Faith Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina under the Pastor Dr. David C. Forbes Sr. He is the founder, Director and Senior Chaplain of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Interfaith Chapel. He is a member of the International Association of Civil Aviation Chaplains, the United States Chaplains Association, and the National Chaplain’s Association. God has blessed Chaplain Stiles to make several trips to Israel where he keeps close contact with friends. The enemy has made numerous failed attempts to kill him, because the hand of God was upon him from his mother’s womb to be a servant of God. He has witnessed the awesome power of God through miracles and healings. His favorite book of the Bible is James. His favorite Psalm is Psalm 51 His favorite scripture is Romans 10:1 “Brethren, my hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved”
