About the Book
This is a great book to read to young children preparing for bed or fighting sleeps. This book was inspired by my grandchildren, and all young children who insist they are not sleepy when all the signs of sleepiness are evident. Like most toddlers and young children, young bear makes many appeals after his grandmother sees and hears him yawning. He appeals to the moon, the stars, and his toys. They all agreed that he should go to bed. His final appeal is to God, who tells him that tomorrow is a brand new day of more fun and play. Young bear concedes and finally goes to sleep.
