About the Book
This children’s story is about a family who lived in the farmland of America. A farmer, homemaker, and their children desiring a better life. Hard work was something the people of the 1920s endured every day. The land had to be broken using mules, then plowed, and timber to be cut for sawmills. A man, woman, and children loving each other, traditional values and tireless hours were installed in their hearts. All the people of the community where they lived had a fellowship with one another. With the changing of the seasons, life goes by. A devoted father and mother showing love and affection for their children. Children lost in a snowstorm, causing panic and loss. This is a story of one’s belief in the Lord to find the children safe and unharmed.
About the Author
I was born in Houston, Texas. I’m the daughter of Pete and Mary Araiza. I’m the youngest of four children. I enjoy reading, writing, and spending hours on my computer. My husband and I have a small farm in rural East Texas, which we love dearly. Small-town living is a wonderful life; most of the folks, friends, and neighbors are hardworking Americans we care deeply about. Ron my husband and I take vacations twice a year or more, just to get away from the grind and the work schedule. I have worked in management for a large corporation for some time. Hard work has shown me there is goodness in people and sometimes rewards that don’t come easy. If one hopes to have hopes and dreams, it is just a moment away. Kay Simpson
