About the Author

Author Emily Hermosillo was born on May 28, 1995, in Southern California. She has been so inspired by the wilderness that surrounds her. At the age of nine, she started keeping journals and soon started writing novels about her imagined adventures. Ideas for Terasleen come from daydreams of a world filled with magic that Emily sees in everyday life. The story Adventures in Terasleen started as a fun project, but like her imagination, it soon took on a life of its own and developed into a full novel. Emily is grateful to all her readers. She is especially happy to hear when one of her stories has inspired someone to read or write a story of their own.
