About the Book

Untitled is a collection of poetry that comes from so many different area’s in our lives. In life we go through different things and we learn different things. I am pretty sure that all of us as teens talked backed to our parents and thought that we knew everything. As adults we are faced with so much doubt and fear not knowing what step to take next. In this book you will find poetry on almost everything that life has to throw your way, love, pain, joy, encouragement, peer pressure, lust, low self-esteem, comfort, heeling, happiness and more. Overall, this book will leave you feeling encouraged and seeing life through a clearer tunnel.

About the Author

Deshea was born in Atlanta, GA to a middle class family. Growing up Deshea had everything she needed and more, being that her mother is a business owner of a transportation company and her father was never around. Her grandmother was a foster care provider for over 20 years and her grandfather was the backbone of their family and held his job for over 40 years. Sadly her grandfather died of a stroke in 2004, which was really stressful for Deshea being that her grandfather was her only father and her best friend. Deshea kept a very strong head on her shoulders, something that her mother and grandmother had always taught her to do when times get hard. With her mother running a successful business on her own and raising Deshea and her brother showed so much strength to Deshea. Also with her grandmother being so strong and helping people in the process made Deshea feel like she could accomplish anything. Deshea wrote her first poem in high school, which was so good that her teacher kept it as an example to show to all of her other classes. That is when she knew that she had a talent for writing. Every time that Deshea had a great day, she wrote about it, when she had a bad day she wrote about and she even wrote about her in between days. While some teens were out in the streets turning to drugs, sex, and partying Deshea turned to her poetry. Deshea is now a proud wife, and mother of two beautiful girls. Deshea loves being a mom and being that she is a young mother she has beaten every statistic out there that states that being successful and having kids is out of the ordinary.
