About the Author

Dr. Jackson was born February 24, 1958 in Bath, Maine to Althea C. Taylor, a Naval Officer and Ethel, who was and High School Educator and the church organist of the historic First Baptist Church of Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Jackson credits the discipline, Christian education, and the demonstration of love and giving back through community service of her parents, as the source of her own strength, tenacity, and zeal for the Gospel. Dr. Jackson attended Goose Creek High in Goose Creek, S.C., the Ohio State University where she studied Human Relations/Family Development , a 2007 graduate of the ACLD Pastoral Program, was enrolled in a dual degree program at Bell Grove Theological Seminary receiving a Master of Divinity & Ministry, and later a Doctor of Divinity. Dr. Jackson is also a keynote conference, retreat speaker, and event planner. In 2006, Dr Jackson Founded W.I.M (Women in Ministry) Mentoring Ministry. She is a “street invader” and has given herself to the work of seeking out those who are lost with an aggressive and radical evangelistic approach. Dr. Jackson is married to Elder Marcus Jackson who serves in ministry alongside her.
