About the Book

My God My Song My Praise, a collection of inspirational poetry and lyrics, came out of the author’s religious experiences and relationships with family members and fellow Christians. Its mission is to encourage, inspire and strengthen spiritually all those who read and meditate on its content. It is a book of praise meant to glorify God, but is also a book that acknowledges, the spiritual capabilities of people who love Christ. Within its pages, encompasses open confession, the dark valleys in all our lives and the joy unspeakable that is available to us through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

About the Author

Missionary JoAnn Schehr Fashina is a retired English Teacher from Boston Public Schools and a member of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. The headquarter church is located in The Greater Refuge Temple of Harlem NY. Pastor William L. Bonner, Chief Presider, while her local church membership is with the Mission Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Somerville MA Pastor Henry A. Moultrie II. Her first book publication is entitled “My God My Song My Praise”, which is also a collection of inspirational poetry. This book, Reality in the Spiritual Realm is her second publication of inspirational poems. The creation of this book was prompted by true life circumstances and scriptural lessons. Each poem is supported with scriptural complements which can be used for meditation and Bible study. JoAnn Schehr Fashina is the recipient of the 1988 Poetic Achievement Award from the American Poetry Association, 2005 Missionary Auxiliary Certificate of Appreciation from the Mission Church of the Apostolic Faith, 2006 National Honor Roll’s Outstanding American Teacher’s Award and the 2007 Appreciation Award for Longevity & Service also from the Mission Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Somerville MA. .
