About the Book

A Lamb Among Lions is the story of Thomas “Luke” McKinney’s tragic fall from grace into the dark world of drug addiction, his miraculous rescue from hell by a warrior angel sent from Heaven, and his redemptive mission into a new life of sobriety and service. The author tells the story in third-person subjective narrative, giving the reader the unique perspectives of heaven, hell, and humanity using characters from the Kingdom of Light and Kingdom of Darkness who do battle for Luke’s soul, awarding him freedom from the bondage of addiction and his lifelong desire for happiness. His journey and search for purpose open the door to intimacy and extraordinary encounters with his Creator, which take him beyond anything he could have imagined.

About the Author

I felt compelled to write this book after the death of my sister, Janie, back in December 2001. I later realized that the compulsion was more of a nudge from God and it’s a privilege to be His servant. I became extremely knowledgeable on the subjects of spiritual warfare and drug addiction, not by the typical way of reading books and taking college courses, but by the first hand associations and real life experiences that happened from a series of bad decisions I made.
