In the course of life, we travel many roads. The paths we take are sometimes hurtful and devastating. We hurt many people but most of all we hurt ourselves but with God and a will to succeed we can survive and overcome. This is an encouraging journey and personal story of one woman's struggle from addiction and co-dependence - a driven desire to tell a story that may somehow help another find their way back from the gates of hell.
About the Author
Joyce was borni in Chicago IL. On the west side of town to James and Martha Wrencher and was the third oldest of seven children. She was sensitive by nature and always wrote and journaled. As she passed through what some would call normal life. It proved quite dysfunctional. It took a different turn that placed her on a street called addiction which led to separation from children and family bouncing her on a hard rock of hopelessness, institutions and suicide attempts but with the help of a higher power she regained her will to survive. Now she reaches out to others alike through the pages of this book to share her experience, strength and hope that they too will see the light at the end of the tunnel and gain the will to survive.
