About the Book
Read To Your Pets is a happy, clever story providing children with some subtle ideas of how to become more fluent readers. Mrs. Phillips knows that her second grade students are not reading out loud very well. Many students lack the self-confidence they need. Her homework assignment makes the students read to their pets that night. The children relate their experiences. Some worked, some didn’t. Her motto is; “READ TO YOUR PETS”. If you don’t have any pets you can practice reading to little brothers and sisters, or parents and grandparents, they will like it too. Look for more stories@CYNTHIACORALPHILLIPS.COM
