Of course the theme of the book suggest detective novel, however with careful investigation, one would find this book has more facets involved. The book takes turns and twists from drama, action, to adventure, and discovery on the open waters, and along the way one will also discover the love story intertwined.

The completion of the careful analysis into the minds of the individual characters was a chore to say the least. As the author of Detective Durham in this day and age, the apprehension level to pursue this subject matter was almost too overwhelming to proceed at its mental inception. However, somewhere deep inside of me, I knew I had to go on. The question in the back of my mind suggests that I wasn’t free enough to explore my own imagination, but the fight for freedom will be achieved in many ways. When we free our minds as a people to accept and enjoy all races, creeds, and colors, then and only then shall we evolve to the next level that is intended for the longevity of human beings as a species. The story, Detective Durham, was a labor of love for the human race.
